Chris Scott is the principal of CS Developments & Investments Ltd, a UK registered company regulated by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
Chris has almost 20 years’ experience in property development and investment across Europe, the Middle East and North Africa.
He has led large multi-disciplinary teams in the successful masterplanning, design and delivery of complex, multi-phased, mixed-use development projects in several different countries. Further information on the projects is provided in Development Management.
Chris has also extensive experience in property investment, from the inception and early growth of the ING Real Estate UK Residential Fund, aimed at the UK’s Private Rented Sector, to the diverse mixed-use portfolio under the ownership of Dubai World Trade Centre.
From 2010 – 2014 Chris led the development and masterplanning team responsible for the real estate elements of the UAE’s successful bid to host the World Expo in Dubai, which is to take place in 2020. This involved not only planning for a mega-event the likes of which had never before been attempted in the Middle East, but ensuring the site had a viable and sustainable legacy.
Prior to moving to Dubai in 2006, Chris was a Development Director and Fund Manager for ING Real Estate in London undertaking development and investment projects throughout the United Kingdom.
