Mediterranean Gate, Tunis
Mediterranean Gate was a major urban regeneration project located within the city of Tunis. Spreading across a total of 3,000 hectares, the project was masterplanned to be delivered over several decades, and one that would grow in line with the ever-increasing population of Tunisia’s capital city as well as the ebbs and flows of several economic cycles.
Chris successfully negotiated an Investment Agreement between the Government of Tunisia and Dubai Holding, one of Dubai’s sovereign wealth funds, who would manage the development and delivery of the project.
Chris and his team of multi-lingual multi-cultural professionals oversaw the business and masterplanning for the project, culminating in an outline approval of the broad project. Both elements were heavily influenced by the likely demand-side factors, to ensure the commercial realities of delivering such a huge project were achievable.
